Free Purge Views Macro

From the ArchSmarter website...

If you need to send out “clean” Revit models, this macro is for you. It deletes all views (including schedules and sheets) from the current model except for the active view.

To run the macro, load the “PurgeViews” RVT file. Make the model you want to purge the active model in Revit. Go to Manage > Macro Manager to open the Macro Manager dialog. Select the “PurgeViews” macro from the list and click the “Run” button. The macro will display a warning that it’s about to delete all schedules, sheets, and views.

If you want to proceed, click the “Yes” button. The macro will loop through all the schedules, sheets, and views in the model file. If the views is not current, the macro will delete it.

Once the macro has gone through all the views, it will display a dialog alerting you to the number of views deleted.

The free Purge Views macro is brought to you by ArchSmarter. To access it and the other free macros that comprise the ArchSmarter Toolbox, sign up for the mailing list here.
