What's Hot in Revit Add-ons for August 2017

Here on Revit Add-ons, with What's Hot, at about the middle of each month, we take a look back at the preceding month to see which posts published during that month received the most pageviews.

We published 114 posts in August 2017 (our most ever in a single month) and received 56,796 pageviews for our efforts.

The big performer for the month was our post about Revit API Docs, the free online searchable and extensible API documentation for Revit from Gui Talarico. It resonated so much with readers that it performed in a way that we'd only seen previously from our popular annual posts about Revit product enhancements from Autodesk. After the Revit API Docs post was published on August 6, it quickly moved into the #1 spot in our "Trending Top 10 for the Last 7 Days" list, where it's been ever since! The fact that the post is about an application development resource rather than a finished app or apps makes its performance that much more remarkable.

Here's the full list of posts that charted on What's Hot for the month:
  1. Free Revit API Docs – Web-based, Searchable and Extensible API Documentation from Gui Talarico
  2. Free Dynamo Progress Bar from designtech
  3. Twinmotion Dynamic Link from ABVENT
  4. BIM One & BuildingSP Partner for Clash Detection and Issue Management Workflows
  5. P&ID Modeler for Revit 2018.1 from Autodesk
  6. Free BIMxHTML – A Dynamo Package To Generate Web Pages from BIM Extension
  7. Free Model Checker Configuration Files Part 3 from CADD Microsystems

Congratulations to the originators!
